Kate Reimann is a St. Louis-based vocalist and teacher. She has performed with Union Avenue Opera, Winter Opera Saint Louis, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Pulitzer Arts Foundation, and Gateway Opera, a chamber opera company she co-founded in 2014. A principal singer with the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, Kate has appeared as a soloist with the St. Louis Symphony in Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Beethoven’s Mass in C Major, Nielsen’s Symphony No. 3, and Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music. As artistic director of Gateway Opera, Kate was especially proud to produce works by women creators and composers, such as 15 Minute Mozarts (Van Buren), Snow White Turns 60 (Trumbore), and The Clever Artifice of Harriet and Margaret (Kirchoff). In addition to performing, her passion is helping others discover the joy of singing in her private studio in West County. Her favorite role of all is mom to Miles, 8, and Hope, 4.
